Systems Analyst
Job description
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in systems analysis, business analysis, or a related field.
- Proficiency in software and systems, including databases, programming languages, and ERP systems.
- Familiarity with system development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies and practices.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and evaluate existing systems and business models.
- Understand and document business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
- Identify opportunities for improving business processes through systems and technology enhancements.
- Recommend changes and improvements to current system processes to optimize efficiency.
- Prepare detailed documentation, including functional specifications, system design documents, and process flows.
- Maintain comprehensive records of system configurations, modifications, and maintenance procedures.
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to validate that systems meet business requirements.
- Identify and resolve defects and issues during the testing phase.
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing systems and applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system-related issues promptly to ensure minimal disruption to business operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, project managers, and business stakeholders, to achieve project goals.
- Facilitate communication and coordination between technical and non-technical team members.
