Position Overview
We're seeking experienced professionals in power transmission & distribution, specializing in substation automation and protection relay engineering. At Siemens, we enable sustainable progress through technology by combining real and digital worlds. Key Responsibilities

1. Design and implement automation systems for power substations
2. Configure and test RTU / PLC for MV / HV substation protection and control schemes
3. Develop IEC-based solutions and other relevant communication protocols
4. Create technical documentation (Control Logic Diagrams, Network Architecture, etc.)
5. Conduct Factory (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT)
6. Provide customer interface and technical support throughout project lifecycle
7. Manage project delivery within time, cost, and quality parameters
8. Identify and mitigate technical risks

Required Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical / Electronics / Computer Science Engineering
2. 5+ years of power automation engineering experience
3. Proficiency in DC / AC schematics and MV / HV substation diagrams
4. Knowledge of major relay / automation products (Siemens, GE, SEL, ABB)
5. Expertise in communication protocols (IEC, DNP, Modbus, etc.)
6. Control and Protection commissioning experience
7. FAT / SAT testing experience
8. Willingness to travel (75% of time)
9. ECSA registration as Professional Engineer / Technologist (Advantageous)

Preferred Qualifications

1. Network technology expertise (Ruggedcom and Scalance)
2. Advanced knowledge of Siemens Power Automation products
3. Experience with SICAM suite and SIMATIC tools
4. Proficiency in automation programming languages
