System Administrator

Join a leading force in the insurance industry as their in-house Systems Engineer / Sys Admin.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage and optimize Active Directory environments, including domains, Azure Connect, trusts, replication, and Group Policy.
2. Implement security best practices within Active Directory.
3. Utilize Hyper-V for virtual machine management and virtualization tasks.
4. Troubleshoot and resolve Active Directory and Microsoft Server-related issues, ensuring system stability and performance.
5. Setup and manage VPN connections.
6. Configure and manage Active Directory for user authentication and identity synchronization.
7. Monitor and analyze IT infrastructure, including on-premises and cloud services.
8. Develop and enforce security policies and procedures for cybersecurity awareness.
9. Manage Windows Servers (both on-premises and cloud) to ensure regular updates and adherence to security standards.
10. Automate routine tasks to enhance efficiency and reduce manual workload.
11. Stay informed about evolving cyber threats and implement proactive mitigation strategies.

Qualifications/Skills:

1. Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
2. Relevant Microsoft certifications.
3. At least 2 years of experience with Microsoft Server and strong knowledge of Hyper-V.
4. In-depth knowledge of Active Directory administration and security best practices.
5. Familiarity with security solutions such as multi-factor authentication (MFA) and endpoint security.
