Responsibilities include:

  • Investigate and resolve software bugs reported by clients or internal teams.
  • Analyze error logs, database records, and application behavior to diagnose issues.
  • Apply patches or small code changes to fix defects.
  • Respond to client inquiries regarding software functionality and errors.
  • Provide technical assistance and troubleshooting guidance.
  • Document common issues and solutions for future reference.
  • Implement and test code changes for bug fixes and minor enhancements.
  • Ensure that updates are properly deployed without disrupting operations.
  • Collaborate with development teams on larger feature rollouts when needed.
  • Identify whether an issue is caused by a system bug or user error.
  • Guide users on proper system usage and best practices.
  • Provide feedback to clients to reduce repeat errors and improve efficiency.
  • Work with developers, QA teams, and business analysts to improve system stability.
  • Document findings and contribute to internal knowledge bases.
  • Suggest workflow optimizations to reduce common support issues.
  • Take full responsibility for completing the required task in the given time.
  • Produce good quality code and comment code properly.
Qualifications:

Required qualifications include:

  • Capable of problem-solving independently.
  • Good understanding of data integrity and security best practices.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology or Computer Science.
  • At least 3 - 5 years of relevant experience as a full stack software developer using technologies such as Delphi/ C# / SQL / RESTful Web API.
  • Exposure to the full software development lifecycle.
  • A deep understanding of relational database concepts and proficiency in writing complex SQL queries.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Great attention to detail.
  • Delivering on requirements on-time and to specification with a high level of quality.
  • Ability to work calmly and methodically when under pressure.
  • Keen knowledge seeker who shares acquired knowledge across teams.
