You will play an integral part in shaping the Opco's business for South Africa. You will work with a team where the goal is to create an environment of continuous improvement, wellness, and open, honest, two-way communication.

Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Logistics Manager, the Supply Chain Planner is responsible for:

• Ownership of administration and stock procurement
• Working with sales/service staff, customers, and suppliers
• Continuing to improve processes and maximizing the effectiveness of our overall service sales channels

Essential Requirements:

• Procurement of stock from local and international suppliers and handling returns
• Performing picking duties with accuracy using first-in-first-out/expiry method of picking
• Verifying the accuracy of quantity and quality of all incoming stock
• Planning both short- and long-term to align supply and demand to support inventory needs
• Setting preferred stock levels and preventing excess inventory
• Preparing detailed reports relating to MRP, back orders, and schedules
• Managing and controlling inventory within the warehouse and performing warehouse duties, such as picking customer orders, QC-checking outbound orders for accuracy, manual handling (up to 12kg)

Qualifications:

• A minimum of Year 12 Education (National Senior Certificate), preferably in administrative based subjects
• A minimum of 3 years office administration experience with a working knowledge of general office procedures and processes
• Supply Chain Management and Demand Planning experience
• Proficient in Excel; experience with Oracle is a plus.
