Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled professional to join our team as a Commercial Operations Manager.

This role will be responsible for ensuring adherence to international trade regulations, customs laws, and export control requirements.

The successful candidate will have experience in exporting sub-tropical fruit / fresh produce and will be able to prepare and manage export documentation, including invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and certificates of origin.

Key Performance Areas:

1. Ensure Adherence to International Trade Regulations
2. Prepare and Manage Export Documentation
3. Coordinate Shipment of Goods
4. Monitor Shipments and Resolve Logistical Issues
5. Set and Monitor Packing and Fruit Grading Standards
6. Develop Operational Plans to Optimize Efficiency
7. Implement Temperature Protocols throughout the Logistics Chain
8. Manage Laboratory Team and Utilize Information to Guide Harvesting, Packing, and Supply Chain Processes
9. Develop Forecasting Models based on Historical Data
10. Assess Accreditation and Regulatory Standards and Implement Processes to Ensure Compliance
11. Analyze QCs and Customer Claims and Disseminate Information to Affected Growers
12. Manage Marine Insurance Claims Process
13. Assess Weekly Export Returns and Claims and Confirm Pricing for Account Sales
14. Act as Key Account Manager to Allocated Growers
15. Provide Economic Steer to Team and Growers
16. Play a Key Role in Sales and Operations Planning Meetings
17. Monitor Supply Chain: Supplier Performance, Downstream Processing, and Logistics
