ROLE PURPOSE

We are seeking a proactive and dynamic Strategy Analyst to support our CEO, Janet Taylor-Hall. This role is designed for a recent graduate with a strong foundation in business principles and a passion for strategic thinking. You will play a key role in facilitating executive decision-making and will have the opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced advisory environment.

Working alongside our CEO, you’ll dive into the inner workings of the business, participate in high-impact meetings, and gain exposure to strategic projects that shape the company’s future. ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Executive Support: Attend and actively participate in all meetings with the CEO, capturing critical discussion points, follow-up actions, and strategic insights.
  2. Strategic Assistance: Assist in developing, analysing, and executing strategic initiatives, supporting the CEO with research, planning, and project follow-through.
  3. Documentation and Follow-Up: Document meeting minutes with accuracy, clarity, and a focus on actionable items. Proactively track and follow up on action items, ensuring stakeholders are aligned and deadlines are met.
  4. Research and Analysis: Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and best practices as required to inform strategic decisions and provide insights to the CEO.
  5. Communication and Reporting: Draft high-quality written communications, including reports, summaries, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  6. Project Management Support: Assist in managing and coordinating various strategic projects, working with cross-functional teams to drive initiatives forward.
  7. Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a key point of contact for the CEO’s office, ensuring clear and effective communication with internal teams and external partners.

Requirements

The requirements for the role include the following:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in business commerce, Business Science, Economics or related field.
  2. Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to understand, analyse, and contribute to high-level strategic discussions.
  3. Exceptional writing skills, with the ability to produce clear, concise, and well-structured documentation, reports, and presentations.
  4. Excellent organizational skills with a meticulous approach to capturing and following up on action points.
  5. Strong interpersonal abilities, including effective communication and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and senior executives.
  6. A proactive and flexible approach, able to handle shifting priorities and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  7. A commitment to the role and a drive to learn and develop, with a vision of transitioning into a consulting or business role in the future.
