Hire Resolve is seeking a highly driven and experienced Strategic Business Development Executive on behalf of our client, a leading financial services firm. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual to join a well-established firm, where the primary focus will be to drive business growth by enhancing the performance of top-tier financial advisors. The ideal candidate will be fluent in Afrikaans, play a pivotal role in developing and implementing strategic Value Creation Plans (VCPs), spearheading advisor recruitment efforts, and leveraging advanced technology platforms to maximize productivity and client engagement.


Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute tailored Value Creation Plans (VCPs) for top advisors, focused on business expansion and revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with advisors to understand business goals, client base, and growth potential.
  • Leverage advanced technology platforms to enhance advisor productivity, client engagement, and operational effectiveness.
  • Conduct regular reviews of VCPs to ensure performance targets are met or exceeded.
  • Provide ongoing reporting and actionable insights to advisors and management.
  • Lead recruitment efforts targeting top-tier advisors aligned with growth objectives.
  • Ensure seamless integration of new advisors through comprehensive onboarding programs, including technology training.
  • Establish long-term growth strategies to enable new advisors to achieve their full potential within two years.
  • Prioritize recruiting advisors who contribute significant business value.
  • Equip advisors with cutting-edge platforms and analytics tools, including AI-driven insights and CRM systems.
  • Oversee implementation and adoption of Wealth Connect, Marketplace platforms, and Connect systems to enhance service delivery.
  • Track platform usage, recommend adjustments, and identify opportunities to optimize advisor and client outcomes.
  • Act as a strategic partner to advisors, supporting the management of key client relationships.
  • Develop retention strategies focused on client satisfaction, loyalty, and long-term business growth.
  • Utilize technology to streamline client communication and relationship management, providing a seamless experience.
  • Design recognition programs that reward advisors for achieving or exceeding targets.
  • Develop customized incentive structures, such as profit-sharing models and long-term performance bonuses, to attract and retain top talent.
  • Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring strategic alignment and regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to support branding and visibility initiatives.
  • Engage in networking events with industry leaders, high-net-worth individuals, and potential clients to foster business opportunities.
  • Provide timely feedback to management on market trends, advisor performance, and product development opportunities.

Requirements
  • Be Fluent in Afrikaans & English
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Postgraduate degree in management (advantageous).
  • Postgraduate diploma in financial planning or Certified Financial Planner (CFP) qualification (advantageous).
  • Regulatory Exam 1 (RE1) and Regulatory Exam 5 (RE5) certifications (advantageous).
  • 15-20 years of relevant experience in financial services, focusing on business development, advisor management, and sales leadership.
  • Proven track record in developing and implementing VCPs for top-performing advisors, driving revenue growth.
  • Experience in strategic recruitment and talent management, with strong relationship-building skills.
