Job Title: Stores Manager

Our client based in Pietermaritzburg is seeking a Store Manager. The ideal candidate should have exceptional communication skills, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail.

Requirements:

1. Matric and relevant qualifications
2. Must reside in Pietermaritzburg
3. 5 years experience in Production Stores Management
4. Appropriate knowledge/competence in the use of Production Management techniques
5. Knowledge of Disciplinary code, procedures, and understanding of the South African Labour Law
6. Proficient in Microsoft Office
7. Knowledge and experience in the manufacturing of sheet metal components

Responsibilities:

1. Stores production output
2. Regulate inventory on a regular basis
3. Work instructions/methods
4. Continuous improvement of area
5. Human Resources management and development of employees
6. Section process related to Safety, Health, Environmental, and Housekeeping
7. Area Production Maintenance plans and activities
8. ISO 9001 and ISO 14000 standards
9. Liase with Buyer’s to ensure stock levels are maintained
10. Report incidents/accidents/non-conformances
11. Assist in other areas as required
