Stores Clerk- Maintenance

At RCL FOODS we see & do things differently, we think bigger, work smarter, and collectively as a team to achieve our ambition to provide more food to more people, more often! We are in search of a Maintenance Stores Clerk to join our Baking Business Unit / Division.

The role will be based in Benoni and report to the Maintenance Manager.

Minimum Requirements

1. Computer literate, proficient in Excel, Outlook, Word and Software systems
2. Organized and systems orientated
3. Ability to work under pressure
4. Knowledge of industrial parts, tools and equipment
5. Knowledge of general industrial stockroom practices and procedures
6. Grade 12
7. Minimum 2 years relevant experience

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Check parts catalogue for proper part identification
2. Contact vendors to obtain quotes and prices
3. Prepare parts requisition and issue purchase order numbers
4. Receive shipments from vendors
5. Check vendor packing slips / invoices for accuracy
6. Enter receipts and distribution of parts / supplies into computer
7. Issue replacement parts to maintenance department
8. Assist maintenance department in choice of parts
9. Receive and complete all job cards
10. Do oil and lubrication stock sheet and balance
11. Assist Depots with parts and consumables needed
12. Conduct periodic stock takes
13. Replenish stock as shipments arrive
