Storeman / Dispatch Clerk
Job description
A well-established automotive industry business is seeking a dedicated Storeman / Dispatch Clerk to join their team.
This role is essential in maintaining an efficient warehouse and ensuring timely and accurate deliveries to customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming stock deliveries.
- Label products accurately and store them in the correct location.
- Process returns and manage stock discrepancies.
- Provide excellent customer care by ensuring prompt and accurate dispatch of orders.
- Maintain stock levels and ensure proper organization of the warehouse.
- Handle basic administrative tasks related to inventory and dispatch.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as required.
Requirements:
- Computer literacy is essential (experience with inventory management systems is a plus).
- Previous experience in a storeman or dispatch role, ideally in the automotive industry.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.
- Male candidates are preferred due to operational requirements.
- Physically fit and able to handle moderate lifting.
- Proactive, reliable, and punctual.
