STOREMAN ASSISTANT

STOREMAN ASSISTANT – PAARL – Our client in the Agricultural Industry is looking to appoint an Assistant Storeman to join their team in Paarl. This role involves managing stock, receiving and dispatching inventory, stock-taking, delivering stock, and liaising with customers. Copies of Drivers license to be submitted with application.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Valid driver’s license with EB endorsement (2.5-ton double axel).
2. Code 10 license (advantageous).
3. Forklift license (not negotiable).
4. Proficient in English, written and spoken.
5. Proficient verbal communication in Afrikaans required.
6. Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Receiving, checking, and storing incoming stock.
2. Pulling stock as required for orders and dispatch.
3. Conducting regular stock takes and maintaining accurate inventory records.
4. Delivering stock as needed.
5. Communicating with customers and ensuring their stock requirements are met.
6. Ensuring the storeroom is kept organized.

Salary: Market related depending on experience.
