Our client, in the Logistics industry, is currently looking to employ a Storeman to their team in Camperdown, KZN.

(Note: Camperdown is located 23 km from Pietermaritzburg and 28 from Hillcrest)

Requirements:

• 1 – 2 years previous stores management experience.
• A good level of physical fitness.
• Able to work quickly and methodically.
• Computer literacy skills.
• A safety-conscious attitude to your work.

Responsibilities, but not limited to:

• Receiving all deliveries and checking the goods received.
• Liaising with suppliers about deliveries and discrepancies in stock.
• Keeping detailed records of shortages and spares of items.
• Updating inventory management systems regularly.
• Moving goods around the store.
• Moving and stocking shelves and stacking heavy goods safely.
• Picking goods from shelves and recording their movements.
• Packing and sending orders to customers.
