Job Title: Store Manager

Location: Tanzania, Africa

Salary: $1500-1,800 per month

Key Responsibilities:

1. Inventory Management:
   • Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of FMCG products, including beverages and food items.
   • Maintain optimal stock levels to meet customer demand while minimizing overstock and stockouts.
   • Implement and monitor stock rotation practices to ensure product freshness and reduce waste.
2. Team Leadership:
   • Supervise and train store staff, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
   • Foster a positive and productive work environment, promoting teamwork and high performance.
   • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
3. Sales and Customer Service:
   • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve store targets and enhance profitability.
   • Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels.
   • Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
4. Operational Compliance:
   • Ensure the store operates in compliance with health and safety regulations.
   • Maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and financial transactions.
   • Prepare and submit regular reports on store performance to senior management.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in store management within the FMCG sector, preferably with a focus on beverages and food items.
3. Proven track record in inventory management and sales optimization.
4. Strong leadership and team management skills.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and retail management software.
7. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
