As a vital part of our team, the Store Assistant is instrumental in aiding the Warehouse Manager with the effective handling and accuracy of our inventory across steel, metals, valves, and pumps. This position requires exceptional organizational abilities, keen attention to detail, and familiarity with stock management systems like Sage or Pastel. Your contributions will include material distribution, inventory oversight, packaging, and upholding our commitment to maintaining safety, efficiency, and precision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inventory Oversight: Facilitate the reception, issuance, and organization of stock, ensuring precision and smooth operations within the warehouse.
• Material Distribution & Management: Supervise the allocation of materials, ensuring adequate stock levels to meet the workshop's operational needs.
• ERP System Management: Utilize ERP systems like Sage and Pastel to monitor inventory and manage stock effectively.
• Logistics & Shipping: Partake in the preparation of materials for shipment and assist with restocking efforts.
• Team Coordination: Work closely with the Warehouse Manager and the team to achieve daily goals and ensure seamless operations.

Requirements:

• Previous Experience: Experience as a Store Assistant, ideally in manufacturing or engineering sectors, with knowledge of heavy industrial components.
• Technical Acumen: Knowledgeable about steel, metals, valves, and pumps, with proficiency in ERP systems like Sage and Pastel.
• Driving & Adaptability: Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation, along with a willingness to work shifts and overtime as necessary.
