MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

To control the receiving and issuing of stock in the hospital.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

• Control Stock
• Issue Stock
• Store Coordination
• Filing and Archiving

REQUIRED EDUCATION

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION: Grade 12

DESIRED EDUCATION: Administrative Certificate or Diploma

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

ESSENTIAL MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: One year experience in a procurement / financial / stock control role.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE: Previous experience as a store man / administrative role; Experience in healthcare industry.

REQUIRED JOB SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• Knowledge and skill in stock control principles
• SAP financial software
• Computer Literacy (Microsoft Office)
• Knowledge and application of Occupational Health and Safety principles
• Knowledge of different types of stock and how to best handle and store it (managing stock)
