Stock Controller - Transpharm Pretoria

Purpose of the Job

• Oversee Staff
• Implement Stock control strategy
• Cycle count execution monitoring
• Stock take results achieved
• To ensure optimum stock levels in the Distribution Centre
• Preventing damages
• Ensure no stock on hold
• Ensure that staff comply with Occupational Health and Safety Regulations and good warehouse practice principles.

Job Objectives

• Ensure staff productivity by ensuring Supervisors instructions are implemented
• Manage Storage capacity in designated department
• Ensuring FIFO system adhered to
• Monitor inventory discrepancies and the action of such (Stock Investigations)
• Daily cycle counts maintained
• Ensure no stock on hold
• Bi-yearly stock take implemented
• Ensure all Stock take prep is implemented for an easier count

Qualifications

• Grade 12 qualification

Experience

Previous working experience in a similar environment an added advantage.

Knowledge and Skills

• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Good analytical and problem solving ability
• Computer literate: G Suite
• Strong aptitude for numbers, analysis and excellent attention to detail.
• Pharmaceutical product knowledge an added advantage
