Job description

Our automotive client is seeking an experienced vehicle and spare parts controller.

Requirements

  • matric + any tertiary qualifications in stock management
  • 8 -10 years of experience working with vehicle stock and spare parts stock management
  • Able to work independently with minimum supervision
  • Experience working in a multicultural environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate with staff with a limited level of English
  • willing to work long works as and when required specially during stocktake / audits

Responsibilities

  • Approx management of 10-30k stock line items
  • Daily, weekly, and monthly stock control, management, and counts
  • Dealing with dealers and sales staff about stock
  • stock monitoring and ensure accurate stock counts are recorded
  • Capturing purchase orders and invoices
  • Ensuring stock sheets are updated regularly to reflect actual stock
  • Handle all queries and resolve problems
  • Compile reports
  • liaise with management
