A manufacturing and engineering company in Randfontein is looking for an experienced Stock Controller to manage and maintain inventory, ensuring production efficiency and minimal downtime. This role includes hands-on support for production and storeroom activities, requiring a proactive and detail-oriented individual with inventory management expertise. The ideal candidate will come from a Manufacturing, Engineering or Mechanical Stock Control background.

1. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Stock Controller in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
2. Proficiency with Pastel Partner software (mandatory).
3. Strong knowledge of inventory management and stock control principles.
4. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
5. High attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
7. Knowledge of health and safety regulations for stock handling.
8. Matric certificate.
9. Valid driver’s license and own vehicle.

1. Manage and monitor stock levels to ensure continuous production.
2. Track and reconcile stock movements, addressing any discrepancies.
3. Conduct regular stock audits and cycle counts to maintain accuracy.
4. Collaborate with procurement and production teams to forecast material needs.
5. Develop and implement efficient stock control procedures.
6. Maintain accurate records using inventory management systems.
7. Resolve stock shortages or excess inventory issues.
8. Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely and quality deliveries.
9. Generate inventory reports for management.
10. Assist storeroom staff with cutting and moving parts.
11. Support the Production Manager with day-to-day tasks.
