We are looking for an organized, detail-oriented Stock Controller to manage our inventory operations for our automotive division, Boksburg.
The ideal candidate should be able to track stock levels accurately using specific software, perform regular inventory audits and update inventory records, and streamline the purchasing process based on demands.
Responsibilities:
Monitor inventory levels to manage supplies and make purchasing recommendations.
Use inventory software to keep track of stock levels, incoming and outgoing supplies.
Oversee the preparation and shipping of products to prevent any discrepancies.
Conduct regular inventory audits and provide reports to management.
Coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure the proper storage and distribution of goods.
Liaise with suppliers and transport companies to optimize delivery schedules.
Implement cost reduction processes and make efficiency improvement suggestions.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards.
Minimum Qualifications:
A minimum of 2 years experience as a Stock Controller in an automotive or similar environment.
Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.
Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) and competent in using Syspro.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and with teams.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
