Job description

Loading and unloading materials using a forklift or other machinery.
Sorting, packing, labeling, and weighing materials as per company procedures.
Transporting and relocating materials within the warehouse or factory.
Following safe driving guidelines and safety protocols.
Monitoring and maintaining accurate inventory records using RF scanning equipment or other tools.
Taking initiative during downtime to help in the warehouse environment.
Preparing products and materials for shipment using forklift and manual labor.
Loading, unloading, and staging products and materials by hand when needed and with lift.
Stacking empty pallets.
Controlling levers and other operating devices, such as forks and hoists, to load, transport, and stack materials neatly.
Locating product within the warehouse facility.
Accounting for and securing materials or products for transport to designated areas.
Performing general warehouse duties as needed.
Inspecting product load for accuracy and safely moving product through the facility ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
Manually or mechanically loading and unloading materials from pallets, skids, and boxes.
Attending ongoing training as necessary to update and maintain skills.
Performing scheduled preventative and low-level maintenance as needed and when defined.
Stacking goods in the correct storage bays, following inventory control instructions.
Loading and unloading goods from vehicles.
Moving goods packed on pallets or in crates around the storage facility.
