Maintain a professional company image at all times.

Monitor market conditions in relation to competitors.

Criteria
A good track record specialising in the marketing of hardwearing and high strength structural steel merchant plates as well as the normal carbon steels (S355JR-AR).
Must have a thorough knowledge of the above-mentioned steel types and their respective applications.
Have some experience in the cut to size market although not essential.
An advantage if the candidate has an existing client base.
Be able to quote the respective materials.
Experienced with demonstrated sales results.
Be in the position to be away from home for prolonged periods of time if required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Great persuasive and negotiation skills.
Good interpersonal and presentation skills.
Energetic, self-motivated and determined.
Passion for sales.
Able to operate as part of a team and not as an individual.
Be self-driven to achieve volume/gross profit/targets.
