Basic Function and Scope of the Position:
The Regional Product Marketing Manager is a key position within the Asia, Middle East and African (AMEA) Regional Marketing organization. This role is responsible for driving adoption and usage of Illumina’s Low Throughput (LT) sequencing platforms and related consumables across the region, which includes commercialization and go-to-market strategies for this product portfolio across all segments.
The Regional Product Marketing Manager, AMEA will work closely with their marketing and commercial colleagues to ensure proper positioning of LT sequencing portfolio solutions, alignment of focus areas, and support of the region’s commercial goals. This person will also ensure that the activities executed in AMEA are in line with and contribute to the overall targets of Illumina’s global marketing organization.
The individual will be responsible for the development of product marketing strategies, both short and medium-term, including planning and executing of regional strategies for new product introductions. A key element of the role will be collecting, evaluating, reacting to, and communicating field information, communicating customer feedback to influence Illumina’s product development strategy and roadmap as well as commercial goals and objectives. This role will work closely with regional and global segment and product marketing and other functions across the organization to ensure all have appropriate visibility into upcoming launches, corporate priorities, and assure alignment with global strategies.
