Job Description

Must have Skills: UML, Microsoft SharePoint, Power Apps (Strong).

To elicit business requirements and document the system design specification to enable the development of innovative, flexible and efficient solutions to business problems.

Skills:

• Comply, understand, and align to all steps within IT development and meet governance in terms of legislative and audit requirements.
• Must be adaptive to change and retain a positive attitude towards challenges.

Must have experience in:

• Eliciting requirements
• Unified Modelling Language (UML)
• Microsoft Office, Visio

Preferable understanding of:

SharePoint, Power Platform, SQL, C#, JIRA, Agile Development Methodology.

Tasks:

• Liaise closely with internal clients.
• Analyse clients' existing IT systems and business models.
• Translate client requirements into a system design specification.
• Identify options for potential solutions and assess them for both technical and business suitability.
• Present proposals to clients.
• Work closely with programmers, developers, testers, and a variety of end users to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction.
• Oversee implementation requirements.
• Plan and work flexibly to deadlines.
• Keep up to date with technical and industry developments.

Qualifications:

• Relevant Degree in BSc Information Systems, BCom Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, or Business Analysis.
• Analytical Thinking: The ability to be systematic and rule-oriented in gathering, reviewing, evaluating, and visualizing data from a variety of perspectives; includes the ability to work with precision.
• Solution Thinking: Gets to the core of issues and applies effective analysis, logic, and creativity to implement solutions.
• Presentation and Facilitation: Uses appropriate presentation and facilitation techniques to engage an audience and help them understand, retain, and respond appropriately to the message.
• Consulting and Advising: Provides technical or specialist insights that provide meaningful opportunities for solution-building.
• Teamwork: Recognizes interdependencies and collaborates with others to achieve shared goals.
• Continuously assess own performance, seek timely and clear feedback, and request training where appropriate.
