Sr. Recruiting Business Partner - 12 month Fixed Term Contract, AWS TA
DESCRIPTION
As a Recruiting Business Partner aligned to AWS, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing key business processes to enhance efficiency, productivity, and collaboration across the organization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improvement, implement best practices, and drive operational excellence. This role will make a significant impact by streamlining workflows, leveraging data-driven insights, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement through standardized inspection and scaling mechanisms. This role has a deep understanding of the operational recruiting flows, and is passionate about enabling improved hiring outcomes.
Key job responsibilities
- Enhancing Team Efficiency: Leverage deep understanding of organization and regional needs to identify inefficiencies in workflows and processes, and implement solutions to streamline operations and improve team efficiency. This includes technology enhancement, process changes, and operational excellence. Conduct inspections to evaluate process efficiency, conversion rates, cycle times, and identify opportunities for improvement. Lead or contribute to recruitment-related initiatives aimed at driving improvements and innovation in recruitment processes and practices, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Online Assessments and Audits: Review and assess online assessments to evaluate their effectiveness and relevance to organizational goals, conducting audits as necessary.
- Cross-Org and Cross-Geo Collaboration: Build a community of practice with other RBPs to share best practices, collectively amplify issues, and build connection across teams.
- Collaboration with Business Ops Team: Work closely with the Business Ops team to identify standardized reporting needs (international and global) and establish mechanisms for sharing and utilizing data, and aligning to standardized usage of data. Own MBR inputs and doc collation.
- Tools, Dashboard, and Systems Management: Ensure that all team members are proficient in using relevant tools and dashboards, providing training and support as needed. Oversee the implementation and management of tools and goals such as 2&5, RHMD, and Hire/Roster, ensuring effective utilization. Partner with Change Champions to resource ad hoc technology and system testing requirements and requests.
- Global Liaison for Tools and Resources: Serve as a liaison to global points of contact (POCs) to ensure alignment and consistency in the use of tools and resources across regions.
- Resource Planning and Load Balancing: Partner with Recruiting Managers, Business Ops, and line of business leaders on resource planning efforts to ensure optimal utilization of recruiters, RBPs, and sourcers to enable balanced workloads across open roles, projects, and initiatives. Review score card metrics across the team, flagging risks and opportunities.
- Reviewing Projects: Regularly review projects and goals in partnership with PM team/XLR8 workflow; prioritize and propose resource allocation, and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
- BR/BRIT Utilization: Partner with teams to address BR and BRIT utilization, identifying coverage risks, and ensuring scaling mechanisms across lines of business.
- Operational Excellence: Collaborate with the PM team to share best practices, standardize processes, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Interviewer Utilization: Monitor interviewer activity and optimize participation and utilization to ensure efficient use of resources and minimize bottlenecks.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize data analysis and insights to identify trends, diagnose problems, and recommend solutions to improve TA operations.
- Influence and Collaboration: Effectively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels to drive alignment, gain buy-in, and influence decision-making.
- Monthly Metric Reviews/MBRs: Conduct monthly reviews of key performance metrics, providing visibility to teams and stakeholders and identifying opportunities to scale best practices.
- Ad Hoc Projects: Lead and participate in ad hoc projects aimed at improving operational excellence, driving efficiency, and supporting organizational goals.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- Experience in corporate and or search firm progressive recruiting including full life cycle recruiting
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Experience across other functional areas of talent acquisition, ideally diversity recruiting, research or analytics
- Experience building and utilizing a variety of sourcing plans and tools, including proactive phone and internet research
