Role Description

As a SQL Developer, you will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and managing SQL databases. You

will work closely with other developers, data analysts, and stakeholders to design and implement

database solutions that meet our business needs. Your role will include writing complex queries, ensuring

data integrity, and optimizing database performance.

POSITION INFO : Responsibilities

1. Design, develop, and maintain SQL databases and related systems.
2. Write complex SQL queries and stored procedures to extract, manipulate, and analyze data.
3. Optimize database performance through indexing, query optimization, and other best practices.
4. Collaborate with software developers and analysts to integrate database solutions with applications.
5. Ensure data quality and integrity by performing regular data validation and cleaning.
6. Create and maintain technical documentation, including data models, schemas, and processes.
7. Troubleshoot and resolve database issues, including performance bottlenecks and data.
8. Implement and maintain data security measures to protect sensitive information.
9. Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve database design and coding standards.
10. Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in database management and SQL development.

Qualifications & Required Skills

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a SQL Developer or in a similar role.
3. Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with major database systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle).
4. Experience with data modelling, schema design, and database normalization.
5. Knowledge of performance optimization techniques, including indexing and query tuning.
6. Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
7. Experience with data integration and working with APIs is a plus.
8. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
9. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
