Job description

As our Sponsorship & PR Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of shaping and executing the Sponsorship & PR strategy for Totalsports. This role is pivotal to our marketing strategy, where sponsorship through events, players, and community initiatives (CSI) plays a crucial role. Your mission? Maximize ROI on our sponsorships, manage our assets with precision, & leverage every bit of media exposure to elevate our brand.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sponsorship Strategy & Management: Define, manage, and execute a comprehensive sponsorship strategy that aligns with Totalsports’ marketing goals. Ensure that our sponsorship assets—whether they be events, players, or CSI initiatives—are effectively managed & deliver maximum ROI.
  2. PR Strategy Development: Create & implement a robust PR strategy that amplifies our brand through media channels & social brand amplifiers. Use earned and paid media to highlight our sponsorships & influencer partnerships.
  3. Media & Brand Exposure: Leverage every media opportunity, ensuring that all sponsorship & media exposure enhances the brand’s visibility & reputation. This includes both earned and paid-for media, making sure that every interaction with the public reinforces Totalsports’ position as a leader in the industry.
  4. ROI Optimization: Constantly evaluate the return on investment for all sponsorship & PR activities, ensuring that we’re getting the most value and impact from our efforts.
  5. Relationship Building: Cultivate & maintain strong relationships with media, influencers, & sponsorship partners to ensure consistent & impactful brand messaging.

Qualifications & Experience:

  1. Sports management Degree or Marketing/ Public Relations Degree
  2. Proven experience in sponsorship management & public relations, ideally within the sports or retail sectors.

Skills:

  1. A strategic thinker with the ability to develop & execute effective sponsorship & PR strategies.
  2. Strong project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities & deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  3. Excellent communication & relationship-building skills.
  4. A results-driven mindset, with a keen focus on maximizing ROI & brand impact.
  5. A passion for sports & an understanding of the sports industry landscape.
