Job description

Job Purpose:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Specialised Cleaning Sales Consultant to drive sales and expand our market share within the hygiene and Specialised cleaning industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating new business, managing client relationships, and meeting or exceeding sales targets in the Durban and surrounding areas. The role will focus on promoting and selling specialised cleaning services, including but not limited to high-level access cleaning, industrial deep cleaning, and hygiene-focused solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales & Business Development:
    1. Identify and engage potential clients, including businesses, industrial facilities, and commercial properties.
    2. Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and business opportunities.
    3. Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue growth and meet targets.
    4. Present and demonstrate Specialised cleaning solutions to clients, ensuring they understand the benefits and ROI.
  2. Client Relationship Management:
    1. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
    2. Conduct site assessments and provide tailored cleaning solutions based on customer needs.
    3. Negotiate contracts and close deals effectively while ensuring profitability.
    4. Provide after-sales support and ensure customer satisfaction.
  3. Operational & Technical Coordination:
    1. Collaborate with operations teams to ensure service delivery meets client expectations.
    2. Keep up to date with Specialised cleaning technologies, products, and industry standards.
    3. Advise clients on compliance with hygiene and safety regulations.
  4. Reporting & Performance Monitoring:
    1. Prepare and submit sales reports, forecasts, and activity logs.
    2. Monitor sales performance and adjust strategies accordingly.
    3. Provide feedback to management regarding market insights and service improvements.

Key Requirements:

  1. Experience & Qualifications:
    1. Minimum 3-5 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in the hygiene, facilities management, or industrial cleaning sector.
    2. Proven track record in achieving and exceeding sales targets.
    3. Strong knowledge of Specialised cleaning services, including high-level access cleaning.
    4. Experience in developing and executing sales strategies.
  2. Skills & Competencies:
    1. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
    2. Strong business acumen with the ability to identify opportunities and close deals.
    3. Ability to conduct site surveys and recommend suitable cleaning solutions.
    4. Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.
    5. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  3. Other Requirements:
    1. Valid driver's license and own reliable vehicle.
    2. Willingness to travel within Durban and surrounding areas.
    3. Ability to work flexible hours when required.
