Sourcing Specialist

Hire Resolve's client, a leading company in the property and construction sector, is currently seeking a skilled Sourcing Specialist to join their dynamic Procurement team. The ideal candidate will have experience in sourcing within the construction or property sectors and possess strong procurement and supply chain management skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and reliability.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with vendors to optimize procurement strategies.
• Work closely with project teams to understand sourcing needs and ensure timely procurement of materials.
• Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships to foster collaboration and performance improvement.
• Monitor market trends and supplier performance to ensure compliance with company standards.
• Implement procurement best practices and contribute to cost-saving initiatives.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and industry regulations in all sourcing activities.

Requirements

• Education:
  • Minimum requirement: Quantity Surveying Qualification or an equivalent qualification in the Built Environment.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience:
  • 2-3 years of experience in Supply Chain Management.
  • CIPS (Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply) Level 4 certification is advantageous.
  • Experience in the construction or property sector is highly desirable.
• Skills & Competencies:
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and make strategic procurement decisions.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office Suite.
  • High attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
