Purpose Statement

• Design and implement end-to-end solutions for card management and transaction switching systems.
• Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to define system requirements and business goals.
• Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and compliant with industry standards.
• Lead and mentor a team of developers and engineers.

Minimum Requirements

• At least 7 years’ experience in systems architecture/design.
• 5 - 10 years’ proven knowledge of and experience with Card Management Systems.
• 3-5 years’ experience with enterprise architecture frameworks and business process modelling.
• Strong understanding of network architecture and security protocols.
• Experience in cloud computing environments, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Knowledge of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) and DevOps practices.
• Linux Server experience.
• Experience with Card Management/Transaction Switching Systems.
• SQL Server/Postgres/Oracle experience.
• Proficiency in C#/Java.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies.
• A thorough understanding of PCI DSS and ISO8583.

Ideal Education:

• A relevant tertiary qualification in Information Management.
• System architecture (technical design and implementation processes).
• Systems analysis and design.
• UML or equivalent modelling language.
• Technical Test Plan Design.
• Standards and governance.
