Job description

Our Client a Global tech firm is seeking a Solutions Architect to join their team in Woodmead on a contract basis (Onsite). They offer stability, growth, attractive rates and a great working environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for ensuring that all master data is correct and updated at all times and maintaining SAP related SOPs and workflows.
  • Assisting with the end-to-end application, integration and continuous improvement of the SAP implementation.
  • Contribute to the business partner leadership team by actively partnering with business peers to determine and articulate strategic direction.
  • Ensure that all team members receive the necessary training/coaching and that they are comfortable with all SAP related processes and assist with any user queries (process or SAP related).
  • Assist in the accurate budgeting and forecasting across operations and projects or programs.
  • Shape business demand into supply by partnering with appropriate business resources to facilitate ideation and the development of business cases and value plans, with a focus on continuous business improvement.
  • Work closely with SA Commercial IT Business Analysts to ensure that business demand is addressed effectively and sensibly.
  • Strategic partnering:
  • Coach business leaders and enable them to articulate their functions systems needs and requirements.
  • Partner with enterprise architecture to develop and maintain multi-year business capability roadmaps.
  • Partner with business transformation teams (change management) to ensure effective business transformation for all initiatives.
  • Partner with the project/program/portfolio management organization (PMO) to ensure a healthy and well-managed initiative portfolio.
  • Lead as the strategic interface between the BRM and the functional area/business partner.
  • Develop a deep knowledge of the business partners functional area and develop positive relationships, both horizontally and vertically.

  • Energy, focus, assertiveness, and diplomacy knowing when to push an agenda and when to let a situation develop, rest, or advance.
  • Highly developed communication skills ability and comfort with working at executive levels.
  • Highly skilled and experienced at negotiating conflict and problem-solving to achieve win-win outcomes at executive levels.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Matric / Grade 12.
  • Bachelors Degree IT, ComSci, Informatics or Engineering (10+ Years).
  • 10+ years business experience.
  • 5-10 years of functional experience in the relevant business function.
  • Extensive experience in the Pharmaceutical industry.
  • Experience facilitating the development and implementation of business initiatives and projects, based on management objectives.
  • Knowledge of Governance frameworks such as King IV, PoPI & GDPR.
  • Knowledge of IT service management/service control/enterprise architecture processes, methodologies & frameworks such as ITIL, COBIT, TOGAF.
