About The Role

The role of a Solutions Architect at Capitec Bank is pivotal in shaping the technological backbone of the bank’s branches, which serve as crucial connection points with local communities. This position involves architecting and re-engineering core banking systems using a diverse set of technologies. The Solutions Architect will lead the deployment of IoT strategies to enhance client engagement and operational efficiency, ensuring the technology supports branch staff effectively. This role directly impacts the efficiency and satisfaction of local branches, aligning cutting-edge technology with Capitec’s ethos of simplicity and client-centric service.

Minimum Requirements

• A relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology
• Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational
• You will use a diverse set of technologies including IOT, .NET, Java, AWS, Vue, Angular, Kafka, and Kubernetes into our tech landscape.
• System architecture (technical design and implementation processes)
• Systems analysis and design
• UML or equivalent modelling language
• Technical Test Plan Design
• Standards and governance
