Our Client in the Automotive Manufacturing Industry is looking for a Solar Operations and Maintenance Technician to join their performance driven team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Product Performance Monitoring:
   • Review and analyze system performance data.
   • Prepare performance reports and recommend improvements.
2. Technical Support:
   • Provide troubleshooting support for complex issues.
   • Create SOPs and training materials for technical processes.
   • Ensure timely resolution of escalated technical issues.
3. Product Management:
   • Conduct market research to identify product improvement opportunities.
   • Collaborate with R&D for product enhancements.
   • Manage product lifecycle, including updates and roll outs.
4. Client Communication:
   • Respond promptly to customer inquiries and concerns.
   • Ensure high customer satisfaction through proactive follow-ups.
5. Issue Resolution:
   • Log, track, and resolve complaints or service issues.
   • Implement corrective actions and preventive measures.
6. Feedback Collection & Analysis:
   • Gather customer feedback for product improvement.
   • Prepare satisfaction reports and identify areas for improvement.
7. Operations & Maintenance Planning:
   • Develop detailed schedules for regular maintenance.
   • Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.
8. Implementation & Monitoring:
   • Oversee maintenance activities to ensure adherence to schedule.
   • Track progress and update stakeholders on completion.
   • Ensure availability of required tools and equipment.
9. Maintenance Planning:
   • Develop project plans and timelines.
   • Coordinate with procurement for materials availability.
10. Quality Assurance & Reporting:
    • Prepare completion reports and ensure documentation is updated.

Requirements:

• Matric / Grade 12 (NQF 4)
• Diploma in Engineering (Advantageous)
• Trade Test (NQF 5)
• Wireman's License
• Travel ready
• Well spoken and Product knowledge
