Work Model : Hybrid (currently 2 days in office)

ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Software Test Analyst at Genasys, you play a critical part in ensuring the "Definition of Done" is met. You will form part of cross-functional development sprint teams where you will serve as the gatekeeper for quality assurance in the teams.

What will you be doing?

1. Designing and executing Test Cases.
2. Creating formal test documentation, including test plans and test completion reports.
3. Testing functionality and ensuring that this aligns with the acceptance criteria.
4. Setting up and maintaining environments for testing purposes.
5. Testing functionality to verify performance and reliability.
6. Logging and tracking bugs, defects, issues, and risks.
7. Doing regression and integration / release testing.
8. Doing manual and automation testing.
9. Collaborate with teams and participate in scrum processes.

The role requires someone who is a proactive problem-solver and enjoys working independently or within a team-based structure. While our team members work on individual projects, we encourage a collaborative and supportive environment, where solutions and ideas are shared to achieve the best possible outcomes.

ABOUT YOU
You are passionate about quality, with an investigative mind. You enjoy following processes, you are detail-oriented, and you are very organised. You are comfortable working on multiple projects at once and managing your time to meet deadlines. Although you are comfortable working alone, you enjoy having the opportunity to collaborate with team members.

Your experience, qualifications, and skills:
ISTQB Certificate in Software Testing
3 to 5 years of experience in Software Testing
Experience with issue / defect tracking tools
Experience in creating test cases, test scenarios, and test plans
Experience with Modern Test Technologies
Experience with Web Application Testing (UI)
Experience with Automated testing and Automated testing tools
Experience with API testing using software such as Postman and Swagger
Intermediate SQL knowledge and an understanding of basic database concepts
