The Product: Dotdigital is an all-in-one customer experience and data platform (CXDP) that empowers marketing teams to exceed customer expectations with highly personalized cross-channel journeys. Breaking down data silos, Dotdigital streamlines decision-making and paves the way for marketing creativity that delivers customer engagement at scale. About the Role

In short - you’ll be helping to bootstrap a brand new product! So we need you to be comfortable building and iterating high quality code and infrastructure, quickly. We’re creating a small, autonomous team inside Dotdigital to start work on this product; but you’ll have support from other technology experts inside Dotdigital, and as the new product grows, more team members too.

Skills

• You’ll be building the backend in modern dotnet 8 so we expect strong C# skills
• You’ll be building the frontend in either Angular or React
• The data backend will either be MongoDB or SQL Server

We’re remote! Our product and technical teams are currently based in the UK, Poland, and South Africa and our 200+ team members work from home. We do make office and co-working spaces available, but that choice is entirely up to you. We’re very much in touch with each other via Slack and Zoom and have a great collaborative culture. To top up our social batteries, we all meet up quarterly in person (we have a meetup per country) and work together for a day, share knowledge, and have fun.

About You

• You have a holistic view of the projects you’ve worked on; you’re not just “a cog” in the machine, but have a great understanding of technical architecture, product requirements, business needs, etc.
• You’re a highly capable remote worker, enjoying it, but understand its challenges.
• You’re comfortable with full stack (frontend/backend/data tier/cloud)
• You’re an extremely strong and fluent communicator, both verbally, and in writing
• You move quickly, testing ideas and moving fast without burning out
• Ideally, we’d love you to have some experience with building SaaS products
