We are looking for a new colleague to join our DevOps team from the Cape Town area. You will join a team of experts that work on the automated deployment and proactive monitoring of our strategic merchant platforms in the EU (Microsoft Azure) and US (ACI Data Centers). You will help ensure that every transaction processed is seamless, secure, and efficient. Your role is about creating a reliable backbone for retail merchants and shoppers who depend on the platform for the successful processing of their payment transactions.

Job Summary:

Plans, designs, develops and tests Development Operations automation streams, including continuous integration and delivery pipelines. Plans, designs, develops and tests software systems to run better in a mission critical environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for designing, developing, testing and delivering high quality software/solutions and CI/CD automation pipelines.
• Help to maintain multiple customer environments through automation.
• Researches and resolves customer reported problems.
• Maintains working knowledge of the hardware platform, network and application layers.
• Exhibits good technical and business judgment and thorough understanding of how customers use the product when dealing with product requirements, complex design issues, and trade-offs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Understand and adhere to all corporate policies to include but not limited to the ACI Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience required for the job:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field or equivalent software development experience.
• At least 2 years software development experience.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Experience needed for the job:

• Experience with building deployment pipelines using Jenkins.
• Knowledge and experience with the Postilion product suite.
• Azure infrastructure and Terraform knowledge.

Work Environment:

• Standard work environment
• Majority time spent on PC (Phys. Req.)
• Some limited travel required, may be domestic or international.
