Software Developer ( ASP.NET Core)

We are looking for a Software Developer to join our team based in JHB.

This role is an initial 12-month contract, onsite.

Salary: R60 000 - R75 000.00

The ideal candidate for this position should have a strong knowledge and experience in:

1. ASP.NET Core APIs
2. C#

The candidate must have a good understanding of:

1. Object-oriented programming concepts
2. Dependency injection
3. SOLID principles

Optional but advantageous skills:

1. Azure Durable Functions

In terms of soft skills, effective communication and the ability to collaborate with teams are essential. The candidate should also have a task-driven approach, being self-motivated and focused on delivering results. They should be comfortable running proof-of-concept projects independently.

Technical Expertise:

1. ASP.NET Core API Development: The candidate should have hands-on experience in building robust and efficient ASP.NET Core APIs.
2. Proficiency in C#: A solid understanding of C# programming is essential.
3. Object-Oriented Programming (OOP): Familiarity with OOP concepts is crucial for designing maintainable and extensible code.
4. Dependency Injection: Knowledge of dependency injection patterns and practices is highly desirable.
5. SOLID Principles: Understanding and application of SOLID principles (Single Responsibility, Open / Closed, Liskov Substitution, Interface Segregation, and Dependency Inversion) are fundamental for creating scalable and maintainable software.
