Role Overview

The Social Media Marketing Coordinator is responsible for developing and executing engaging social media strategies across various platforms for DJI (Drone, Action Camera & Gimbal Technology) and The Apple Reseller Program (Program for Resellers of Apple products to SMB’s). This role requires a deep understanding of social media trends, content creation, and community engagement from a B2C & B2B perspective. The Social Media Marketing Coordinator will report directly to the Senior Marketing Manager and work closely with the extended marketing team to ensure brand consistency and achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Social Media Strategy & Content Creation:

1. Develop and implement social media strategies aligned with overall marketing goals and brand guidelines.
2. Create and curate engaging content (text, images, videos via tools such as Canva) for various social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, etc.)
3. Manage social media content calendars and ensure timely publishing of content.
4. Develop and maintain a consistent brand voice across all social media platforms.
5. Stay up-to-date on social media trends and best practices.

Community Engagement & Growth

1. Build and manage online communities across various social media platforms in line with respective Business Unit objectives.
2. Engage with followers, respond to comments and messages promptly, and foster online conversations.
3. Implement strategies to increase social media following and engagement in accordance with KPAs.
4. Collaborate with Key Opinion Leaders, Retail, Reseller & 3rd Party Partners to promote products and services.

Social Media Advertising & Analytics

1. Assist in planning and executing social media advertising campaigns.
2. Track and analyse social media performance metrics in accordance with KPAs.
3. Prepare regular reports on social media performance and provide insights for improvement.
4. Strong proficiency in MarTech (Brevo or any equivalent CRM/CVM tool, GA4).
5. Utilise social media analytics tools to measure campaign effectiveness and ROI.

Collaboration & Support

1. Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure social media strategies align with overall marketing campaigns in accordance with BDF and Annual Marketing Plans.
2. Support the marketing team with other marketing initiatives as needed.
3. Provide social media training and guidance to other team members.

Qualifications And Experience

1. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
2. 2+ years of experience in social media marketing.
3. Proven track record of creating and executing successful social media campaigns.
4. Excellent knowledge of social media platforms and best practices.
5. Strong content creation and copywriting skills.
6. Experience with social media analytics tools.
