Our client based in Cape Town is currently looking to employ a Social Media Marketer, specialising in Posts and Reels for Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok, to drive brand awareness, engagement, and conversions.


Requirements:

  • 3-5 Years’ proven experience as a Social Media Marketer, specialising in Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
  • The ideal candidate will have a passion for content creation, particularly for short-form videos and posts on Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing posts and short-form video content.
  • Proficiency with tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
  • Expertise in social media analytics tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, TikTok Analytics, etc.).
  • Basic photography or videography skills.
  • Excellent understanding of platform-specific content trends and best practices.
  • Awareness of current affairs.
  • Creativity, strong communication skills, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong leadership skills and a strategic mindset.

Responsibilities and expectations but not limited to:


Content Strategy and Planning:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy tailored to Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
  • Conduct audience research to identify trends, preferences, and behaviours to optimise content performance.
  • Plan and maintain a content calendar, ensuring a consistent and on-brand posting schedule.

Content Creation:

  • Create compelling posts, reels, and stories that resonate with target audiences.
  • Write captions, hashtags, and post copy optimised for each platform.
  • Film, edit, and produce high-quality short-form videos for reels and TikTok.

Platform Optimisation:

  • Stay up to date with platform trends, tools, and algorithm changes to maximise reach and engagement.
  • Use platform analytics to measure performance and optimise content strategies.

Community Engagement:

  • Respond to comments, messages, and interactions promptly to foster community and brand loyalty.

Performance Analysis and Reporting:

  • Track and report on key performance metrics, including reach, engagement, follower growth, and conversions.
  • Use data insights to refine content and campaign strategies.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the marketing team to align social media efforts with broader campaign goals.
  • Coordinate with product, sales, and customer support teams to amplify messaging.
