Role Overview
Our client is seeking a tech-savvy Social Media Manager with a strong command of cryptocurrency and blockchain technology. You should be creative, strategic, and experienced in building high-impact social content that educates, inspires, and converts. Ideally, you're already using AI tools to streamline content creation and scale brand voice with consistency and speed. This role blends storytelling, data, and innovation—perfect for someone who lives and breathes social trends, understands the crypto space, and knows how to spark conversations that matter.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in social media management, ideally in fintech, crypto, or tech startups.
• Strong understanding of cryptocurrency, DeFi, and blockchain ecosystems.
• Proven experience creating content that grows and engages an audience (please include a portfolio or samples).
• Proficiency in AI tools for content creation (e.g. ChatGPT, Jasper, Midjourney, Canva AI, etc.).
• Excellent writing and editing skills with the ability to translate complex topics into digestible, compelling posts.
• Experience with social media analytics and scheduling tools (e.g. Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Buffer, etc.).
• Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced, multicultural environment.
• Bonus: Design skills (Canva, Figma), experience with meme marketing, and/or influencer engagement.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a forward-thinking social media strategy aligned with our client'sbrand and business goals.
• Create engaging, original, and informative content across all key platforms (X/Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Telegram, etc.).
• Leverage AI tools to assist in content generation, social listening, and performance optimization.
• Manage the social content calendar and lead daily publishing, community interaction, and real-time engagement.
• Work closely with the Design and Product Marketing teams to create visuals and campaigns that educate users on crypto concepts, product features, and promotions.
• Monitor trends, memes, crypto news, and cultural moments to ensure timely and relevant engagement.
• Analyze KPIs and report on content performance, adjusting strategy accordingly to optimize growth and engagement.
• Collaborate with regional marketing teams to tailor content to different African markets while maintaining a unified global voice.
• Manage influencers, partners, or campaign collaborations as needed.
