Job description

We are looking for a Social Media Coordinator to join our team and manage our online presence across multiple platforms.

This role requires a highly motivated individual with a passion for customer engagement, brand awareness, and digital marketing.

You will be responsible for content creation, community engagement, and customer support across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and other social media platforms.

Minimum Requirements

Education (Non-Negotiable): Diploma or Bachelor's in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

Experience (Preferred): 1+ year of experience in social media coordination or a similar role. Experience assisting with content creation (graphics, videos, captions). Familiarity with customer engagement strategies and best practices.

Technical & Industry Knowledge (Non-Negotiable): Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Strong understanding of Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok algorithms. Knowledge of customer service procedures and community management. Passion for customer satisfaction and ability to support the Hello Group's online community.

Preferred Exposure to Tools & Platforms: Experience using social media management tools (Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, Buffer). Experience with basic graphic design or video editing tools (Canva, CapCut, Adobe Spark). Strong copywriting and copy-editing skills for social media content. Empathy-driven communication to effectively engage with customers. Problem-solving mindset to assist customers with queries and resolve issues. Excellent written and verbal communication skills to craft engaging and professional responses. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail to ensure accurate and clear information is shared. Flexibility & adaptability to changing social media trends and business needs.

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Social Media Management: Develop, schedule, and manage posts across Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok. Engage with followers, responding to queries, comments, and messages promptly. Monitor and report on social media performance, identifying trends and areas for improvement. Stay updated with industry trends, social media best practices, and platform updates.
  2. Customer Engagement & Support: Facilitate online conversations and respond to customer queries in a professional and empathetic manner. Ensure customer concerns and complaints are escalated to the relevant teams and resolved efficiently. Foster a positive online community by maintaining a brand voice that aligns with company values.
  3. Content Creation & Strategy: Assist in creating engaging and visually appealing content (graphics, videos, and written posts). Work with designers and marketing teams to develop creative campaigns. Optimize content based on performance insights and engagement data.
  4. Reporting & Analytics: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as engagement rate, reach, and follower growth. Provide insights on social media performance and suggest improvements.
