Senior Server Engineer
Permanent position - based fully on-site (with flexibility)

We are looking for a Senior Server Engineer with solid Wintel experience to maintain the software, hardware, and systems on a Windows server.

Responsibilities:

1. Server Security patch management (create packages for deployment to Test and Dev, build release notes and deploy to Production) for more than servers
2. Server Application patch management (e.g., Internet Explorer, IIS, .Net, etc.) for more than servers
3. Desktop Security patch management (create packages for deployment to Test and Dev, build release notes and deploy to Desktops and Laptops for +/- end points)
4. Create and maintain patch schedules
5. Implement and maintain KMS (Centralized Server License solutions)
6. Implement and maintain RDP (Centralized Server for RDP authentication)
7. Maintain N-1 for Server OS's that assist with PCI-DSS certification (upgrade to supported server OS's)
8. Server Migrations and Cloning (Cloning, Sysprep, Domain registrations, patching)
9. Server Builds, build new servers (Domain registrations, patching, etc.)
10. Maintain relevant SOP's, Low Level Designs (SCCM, SCOM, Server OS Standards)
11. Maintain SCCM for patching and create roll-out packages of applications
12. Maintain SCOM for real-time infrastructure events
13. Service request and Incident handling
14. Maintain and excel in an IT environment that manages +/- end points (Server, Desktop, Laptop)
15. Solid understanding of Microsoft Windows Server and sound knowledge of operating system platforms as well as areas like VMware, Active Directory, and Microsoft Exchange
16. Strong technical abilities allow this role to be hands-on in correcting the configuration of the service
17. Working experience within IT Operations, infrastructure services support
18. Understanding of several diverse areas ranging from physical server maintenance to virtual server infrastructure
19. Knowledge of Windows operating system
20. SCOM and Microfocus Ops Bridge integration
21. SCCM and Intune integration
22. Working knowledge of a call logging system
23. Experience in hardware skills (server and network)
24. Change Management
25. Test and certify new versions of the Windows operating system providing better solution and integration for applications like VMware and SharePoint
26. Maintain and support multi-site Windows environments along with hardware and software configuration
27. Competencies in Disaster Recovery methodologies and practices as well as Windows Clustering for servers
28. Integrate the server automation process either by custom scripts or via third-party solutions
29. Understanding of group policy, OU's forests, and the use of Manage Engine Active Directory Manager and AD Audit
30. Intune and SCCM integration
31. SCOM and Microfocus Ops Bridge integration and maintenance thereof
32. Good analytical ability for problem solving, continuous improvement

34. Ensure excellent customer service by providing customers with prompt, efficient, and courteous attention on every interaction
