Responsibilities

Site Supervisor

The tasks of the Site Security Supervisor include and are not limited to the following:

  • Implement the Site Security Plan to identify, assess and mitigate risks to PepsiCo’s associates, facilities, proprietary information, and brand/reputation.
  • Form part of the Site Crisis Management Team, executing security functions as part of the Business Continuity Plans of the premises.
  • Ensure that the premises is compliant with the Site security plan (technological, procedural, manned guarding, architectural).
  • Maintain strong working relationships with local management teams.
  • Plan and oversee periodic security self-assessments and bi-annual security risk assessments to identify critical vulnerabilities and close these risks through effective security enhancements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with national and local security, emergency response, law enforcement, and regulatory authorities.
  • Ensure compliance with PepsiCo AMESA Security Risk Management System and supporting standards and procedures.
  • Assist in delivering security awareness and training programs for PepsiCo associates.
  • Advise and assist before, during, and after security incidents, including on-the-spot risk assessments and security advice to site leaders.
  • Assist in implementing security plans to strengthen the protection of our supply chain (Make/Move/Sell).
  • Conduct and coordinate investigations into counterfeit, extortion, contamination of products, loss reduction, kidnapping, robberies, fraud, and security threats.
  • Provide training to security guards and employees in strike protocols during labor disputes.
  • Oversee security guard companies to leverage economies of scale and lower costs, implementing a KPI management system to evaluate service provided by 3P Security providers.
  • Ensure the continued professional development of the security team, including succession planning.
  • Implement all Security Policies, Plans, and Site SOPs.
  • Report incidents immediately to the Line Manager and compile reports according to Security Policies.
  • Review the recording of CCTV daily to ensure no irregularities.
  • Provide required evidence in the event of any security incident and support EHS on any Safety Incidents evidence if needed.

Qualifications

Key Competencies:

  • Ability to work in a dynamic and rapidly expanding business environment.
  • A minimum of 5 years of working experience; 3 years Security experience in the private sector (preferably industrial sectors).
  • Knowledge of best security practices, principles, and objectives.
  • Well-refined interpersonal skills.
  • Security PSIRA (Grade A) qualification.
  • A working proficiency of written and spoken English.
  • Ability to work among a team of peers.
  • Ability to work in a challenging environment and be connected 24/7.
  • Excellent organizational skills to prioritize responsibilities, meet deadlines, and work in a multi-task environment.
  • Good decision-making and leadership skills.
  • Computer literate.
  • Ability to work in a VUCA environment.
  • Rehearsed in Crisis Management Procedures.
  • Basic knowledge in conducting investigations.
  • 3 years experience in FMCG environment.
  • Basic knowledge and training on HSE.
