Site Agent/Construction Manager - Wellington, WC

Hire Resolve's client, a reputable civil construction company specializing in infrastructure development projects, is currently seeking two experienced Construction Managers / Site Agents to join their dynamic team in Cape Town.

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee and manage civil construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
2. Coordinate and supervise on-site construction activities, including pipelines, earthworks, roads, and concrete works.
3. Implement and enforce compliance with construction methods as per SANS 1200/GCC standards.
4. Utilize project management software (e.g., MS Project) to plan, monitor, and report on project progress.
5. Lead and mentor site staff, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
6. Liaise effectively with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders, maintaining clear communication and strong relationships.
7. Ensure all health, safety, and environmental regulations are strictly followed on-site.

1. BEng, BSc, BTech, or National Diploma in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
2. Minimum of 5 years' experience in construction management on civil projects.
3. ECSA or SACPCMP registration is preferred.
4. Proficiency in MS Office and project management software, particularly MS Project.
5. Strong knowledge of construction methods, specifically SANS 1200/GCC standards.
6. Proven experience managing civil construction projects, including pipelines, earthworks, roads, and concrete works.
7. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with fluency in English and Afrikaans.
8. Valid driver's license.
