Relevant NQF level 4 or 5 qualification with a minimum of 120
Class of business certificates for both personal and commercial lines.
Proven experience in handling both personal and commercial insurance.

Primary Responsibilities:
As a Short-Term Insurance Broker specializing in new business development, your key responsibilities will include:
Achieving a monthly minimum target of R3,500.00 in new business commissions. This target typically entails securing approximately 10 policies per month, with each policy yielding a commission of R350.00.
Identifying client needs and offering insurance coverage tailored to their specific requirements.
Obtaining quotations from a range of insurance providers.
Conducting face-to-face discussions with clients to review and discuss insurance quotations.
Providing clients with accurate and comprehensive advice regarding their insurance needs.
Maintaining a robust pipeline of potential business opportunities to consistently achieve monthly targets.
Note that cold calling and lead sourcing are not part of the broker’s daily responsibilities; leads are provided through inbound call center agents and liaisons with the life, tax, and billing departments.
