Job description
Key Outputs
- Development, consultation and implementation of SHE training matrix.
- SHE training content development is done as per business risk for all SHE disciplines (Safety, Health and Environment).
- All SHE learning areas are scheduled and reports submitted to line management as and when required.
- Facilitation of SHE training and Train the Trainer for the regions.
- Coordinate all SHE Communications to business (Level 1, 2 notifications, SHE themes, posters etc).
- SHE Culture programme is established, implemented, and effectiveness survey conducted periodically.
- Coordination of all regional Legal and other appointments.
- Identification of SHE legal compliance gaps and provision of timeous training.
- Establish and maintain SHE systems to ensure continual improvement is achieved (e.g. Cura management System, credit 360 etc.).
- Risk management training conducted in all levels of the organization.
- Continuous advisory support to business and alignment with emerging risks.
- Customer support provided and satisfaction measured.
- All outsourced services are carried out as per specification.
- Compile and submit accurate periodical SHE reports.
- Participate in all high potential incidents’ investigations.
- Identification, management of SHE consultants in line with company policies.
- SHE report compilation and submission (weekly, monthly and quarterly).
Qualification, Experience and Competencies
- Bachelor’s Degree or National Diploma in SHE management.
- Certificate in OHSAS 18001 EMS ISO 14001.
- Professional Registration.
- SAMTRAC.
- Environmental Law.
- 8 to 12 years’ experience in a safety and risk environment.
- 3+ years in safety and risk management.
- Experience of managing and developing staff.
- Knowledge on QA systems, best practice management and ISO requirements will be an added advantage.
