Lead a culture of change by driving compliance to Food Safety legislation and statutory requirements for the Ecowize Group.
Responsible for Continuous Improvement, by developing and implementing Food Safety as well as Health and safety management systems protocol. Support business operations by assisting with training requirements where risks are identified or where quality standards are not met.
Responsibilities
Attend Quarterly Food Safety meeting and present identified risks and propose preventative actions.
Lead monthly safety meetings with Area Managers and Site Managers.
Address any gaps and close out non-conformances.
Attend National SHEQ Meeting.
Responsible and liable to ensure that all Occupational Health and Safety regulations are complied with by completing an Internal Audit bi-annually or when required.
Co-ordinate establishment of SSOP’s for all tasks at a contract start-up and when required.
Verify Food Safety & SHE corrective and preventive actions, as well as improvement proposals, and action plans.
Assist team with solving problems at site level by encouraging team to create alternative solutions and take ownership of difficult situations.
