Job Summary

The successful candidate will be required to fulfil the job as summarised below, but not limited to:

Responsibilities

1. QA / QC Management
   Establish, maintain and administer a comprehensive Quality Management System.
2. Ensure consistent application of the Quality Management System throughout the organization.
3. Accurate reporting on non-conformities, identification of trends and reporting to top management.
4. Creating an awareness of the Quality Management System requirements and foster collaboration within the business environment.
5. Engaging with clients in a meaningful and professional manner with the purpose of delivering excellent client services.

HSE Assurance & Management

1. Maintain legal compliance throughout the business with regard to Environmental, Health and Safety Management.
2. Development, administration and management of a comprehensive safety management system.
3. Manage the development and implementation of environmental management systems within the project sites by identifying, solving and alleviating environmental issues, such as pollution and waste treatment in compliance with environmental legislation and to ensure corporate sustainable development.
4. Accurate reporting of HSE statistics and incidents, identification of trends and implementation of corrective actions.
5. Identify, coordinate, track and monitor the training of personnel in all areas of safety.

Your Profile

1. HSE: National Health and Safety Management Diploma (or relevant qualification).
2. SAMTRAC/OHSAS / ISO Implementation.
3. HIRA.
4. QA / QC: National Certificate: Quality Management Systems (B. Tech Quality Management preferred).
5. Understanding and implementing ISO.
6. Additional Educational Requirements: Registered with SACPCMP as Safety Manager.
7. Total Quality Management Programme.
8. Sound working knowledge of the MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
9. Years of Experience: 10-15+ years practical health and safety working experience.
10. Managerial Experience: Leading and managing a team.
