Maintenance Supervisor- Balch Springs- Tx

Key Responsibilities:

1. Achievement of cost centre financial targets and Key Performance Indicators.
2. Resolve internal customer queries.
3. Effective control of cost centre expenses and WIP.
4. Ensure effective communication between team and management.
5. Ensure service work is carried out in compliance with quality standards (OEM Guidelines).
6. Apply warranty policies and procedures; this includes warranty decisions and service warranty investigations.
7. Ensure outputs of service audits are achieved.
8. Apply Barloworld Equipment leadership philosophy.
9. Achievement of a team environment that enables maximum productivity and profitability (Performance management of team).
10. Competency development of team – one our training.
11. On the job supervision – safety of team.
12. Reporting of team Key Performance Indicators and prospects.
13. Take ownership and manage all 2.6.1 appointment responsibilities.
14. Management of Field Service Vehicle's in area of responsibilities.
15. Ensure CC / SOR compliance.

Qualifications, Experience, and Competencies:

1. Grade 12.
2. Minimum of 6 years' experience as Mechanic General, Trade Test qualified in relevant trade (e.g. Diesel Mechanic / Earthmoving Equipment Mechanic) post apprenticeship or learnership experience.
3. Minimum of 4 years Field service mechanic experience with substantial troubleshooting exposure.
4. Experienced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills on Earthmoving Equipment Machines.
5. Well-imbedded machine-specific technical knowledge and skills.
6. Sound interpersonal and communication skills.
7. Good technical report writing skills.
8. Basic business and financial understanding.
9. Computer literate and good business writing knowledge.
10. Good and experienced on Caterpillar machine and product knowledge.
