If so, we would love to hear from you. We are looking for a Service Operation Portfolio Manager to join the team.

Responsible for the Onshore wind turbines Service business in South Africa, locally based to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction, processes and organization implementation, project profitability ensuring a high level of safety, quality, and productivity under (Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy) SGRE standards and the company targets. Some of your key tasks will include but not be limited to:

1. Ensures implementation of and adherence to policies, processes, and methods for customer service activities (technically and/or commercially).
2. Implements superior strategy and guidelines, and develops/defines functional specific policies, processes and/or methods for corporate, business, or regional organization from a commercial and a technical point of view.
3. Ensures obeying regional laws and regulations.
4. Ensures a proficient and capable Service workforce to conduct required service tasks in time and quality.
5. Provides the necessary work environment, tools, and processes to optimally deliver services to customers.
6. Acts as escalation instance for resolving issues with service delivery and internal units.
7. Manages organization unit(s) assigned, and leads and/or coordinates dedicated management and staff.

What you need to make a difference

Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change. We are also looking for:

1. Someone who ensures project Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) and Quality Management (QM) performance.
2. Who would be primary/focal point for customer communication & engagement on a portfolio level.
3. Who would be SGRE representative toward our customers, ensuring satisfaction from Service contract and beyond, providing best quality service and guaranteeing customer and SGRE interests.
4. Overall accountable for Profit/Loss responsibility including risk/opportunity management for project delivery according to Project Manager at SGRE, project scope, ethical standards, laws, rules and regulations, Business Conduct Guidelines, SGRE and industry HSE standards.
